Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Teamcenter Solution Architect to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing Teamcenter solutions and projects that align with business requirements. You will coordinate with functional groups to gather requirements, drive system design, and ensure the successful implementation of Teamcenter best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with functional groups to gather requirements and drive the design of the To-Be system with all stakeholders.
  • Map PLM requirements to the Teamcenter framework.
  • Troubleshoot product and technology limitations and issues.
  • Coordinate and drive project development and the development team.
  • Incorporate PLM/Teamcenter development best practices.
  • Design Teamcenter solutions for both client and server, and integrate with third-party applications such as SAP4Hana, NX, and ECAD tools.
  • Configure and customize Active Workspace and Teamcenter architecture and data model.
  • Install and configure 2-Tier & 4-Tier clients, file management server, dispatcher server, and CAD integration.
  • Resolve application issues, troubleshoot, and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Customize Teamcenter client-server and services SOA.
  • Implement Teamcenter product solutions in real-time customer environments.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of Teamcenter UA products such as Engineering Data Management, BOM Management Workflow, BOM Management, Change Management, and more.
  • Skills in mapping business requirements to the PLM/Teamcenter framework.
  • Experience in Teamcenter solution design for both client and server, and integration with third-party applications.
  • Proficiency in Active Workspace configuration and customization, and Teamcenter architecture and data model configuration.
  • Experience in installing and configuring 2-Tier & 4-Tier clients, file management server, dispatcher server, and CAD integration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to resolve application issues, troubleshoot, and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Good coding and architecture skills, including Teamcenter client-server customization and Teamcenter services SOA customization.
  • Exposure to real-time customer environments and implementation of Teamcenter product solutions.
  • Proficiency in English, as you will be part of an international setting where you will exchange knowledge with people from all over the world.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Multi BOM Management in TC and AWC latest versions.
  • Understanding of how to transition from RAC to AWC, including knowledge of TC AWC data model and Multi BOM Management capability.
  • Knowledge of Multi BOM management in ETO environments.
  • Experience with large solutions, such as power stations, plants, and ships.
  • Understanding of ecosystem models that involve external designs, external production in multiple suppliers/locations, and internal production.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming language and TC server-side (ITK & SOA) customization.
  • Declarative UI configuration (Active Workspace) and customization.
  • Good knowledge of web technologies such as XSLT, HTML, JavaScript, JSON, Teamcenter ITK, SOA programming, web methods, and web service architecture.
