We are looking for a talented Analyst specializing in market and liquidity risk to join our dynamic Group Risk Control team. This is a great opportunity to make an impact in a fast-paced and collaborative environment

You will be a part of a professional team within the Group Risk Control function. The function currently consists of 12 people and covers all NOBA's risk exposures. You will be working in the newly created team Market, Liquidity & Capital Risk, and will work mainly with market and liquidity risks but with the possibility to work broadly and be involved in projects and developing activities across Group Risk Control. NOBA is a rapidly growing bank, offering a dynamic and inspiring environment, as well as both challenges and exciting possibilities. At NOBA, you will be part of a team that values wholehearted dedication and supports each other's growth and success.

The position is placed at the headquarter in Stockholm, at Gävlegatan 22, and you will be reporting to the Group Head of Market, Liquidity & Capital Risk within the Risk Control function.

About The Role

Working with market and liquidity risks at NOBA offers a challenging and rewarding experience. The risk areas covered are e.g. interest rate risk, FX-risk and stressed liquidity risk, as well as regulatory metrics such as the Liquidity Coverage Ratio and Net Stable Funding Ratio. You will work with monitoring, measuring and reporting market and liquidity risk exposures. The role also includes enhancing existing analysis tools, improving processes, and executing and improving the control framework. You will be collaborating closely with NOBA's highly skilled and dedicated Treasury function, as well as with your other colleagues at the Group Risk Control function.

What You'll Do
  • Monitoring, analysing, controlling and reporting of market and liquidity risk across NOBA Group
  • Developing and maintaining relevant and efficient tools for analysis, and data sets for the ongoing monitoring of NOBA's market and liquidity risk developments
  • Maintaining close communication and coordination regarding market and liquidity risk exposures and developments with NOBA's Treasury function and other relevant internal stakeholders
  • Working with analysing and implementing regulatory requirements in the market and liquidity risk areas
We Are Looking For Someone Who Has
  • An academic background in Economics, Finance, Engineering or equivalent
  • 1-3 years' experience in the financial sector or as a consultant
  • Extensive experience in working with Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of financial instruments, financial markets and financial risk
  • Good writing and communications skills (English is NOBA's main working language)
It Is Beneficial If You Have
  • Experience from market and/or liquidity risk modelling and balance sheet analysis
  • Experience in Python, SQL, VBA or Power BI
  • Experience from working with implementation and/or follow up of regulatory requirements.
Who You Are

You have strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis. While you work well independently, you also collaborate effectively across departments. As a proactive and solution-oriented team player, you readily share your knowledge and ideas to drive success.

What We Offer
  • Strong growth and career development possibilities within risk management, regulatory requirements and business strategy/development
  • The possibility to grow within the Group Risk Control function, e.g. in the areas of quantitative analysis, capital adequacy or credit risk
  • Experience from joining a rapidly growing banking group and organisation
  • Excellent team environment with high degree of support and personal responsibility
  • Strong feedback culture and coaching leadership
  • Work-life balance
  • Attractive compensation and benefits
  • A strong caring company culture – we really care about each other
