When working within legal at Ingka Group you will cooperate both with our legal team on a Group level as well as a legal community worldwide.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership: You have directly or indirectly led teams before, and know how to inspire, coach and develop people.
- A Master of Laws degree in Sweden.
- Good at building strong relationships, collaborating and co‑creating and unleashing entrepreneurs through your leadership.
- Extensive experience of reviewing, drafting and negotiating a broad spectrum of agreements and legal information.
- Comfortable handling unclear or unpredictable situations and expressing ideas and opinions effectively in both writing and spoken conversation, in English and Swedish.
Responsibilities
- Pro‑actively support the management and other stakeholders to run the IKEA business and to secure the rights and assess the obligations to reduce exposure to legal risks and to optimize business opportunities.
- Equip leaders and stakeholders with legal competence and confidence to make informed decisions by leveraging strong guiding and counselling skills.
- Responsible for implementing the appropriate corporate governance measures locally according to group guidelines and support management to organize for compliance with relevant steering documents, delegations, etc.
- Keep updated with relevant international and local legal developments.
- Create an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co‑workers and customers.
