Cell Lead – Nordic Snus (JTI)

Cell Lead
Do you want to take a key role in a dynamic and technologically advanced production environment? We are looking for an engaged Cell Lead who wants to drive and optimize production by ensuring efficient operations, high product quality, and continuous development of both personnel and processes.
As a Cell Lead, you have overall responsibility for your production cell and ensure that machines operate correctly, that the right people work on the right tasks, and that all processes follow our standards and guidelines. You lead and motivate the team, plan resources, and ensure that production goals are met according to IWS principles (Integrated Work System). Through active leadership and analysis of key performance indicators, you work to improve productivity and safety in the workplace.
Your Responsibilities
As a Cell Lead, you are responsible for leading and coordinating work within your production cell, focusing on safety, quality, production goals, productivity, and costs.
- Plan and organize production to ensure efficient operations and high quality.
- Lead improvement activities and projects across all shifts in line with goals.
- Ensure that the team works according to IWS methodology and that production processes adhere to safety and quality standards.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement actions to improve operations and results.
- Manage staffing and resource management, adapting planning according to production volumes in consultation with functional leaders.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop employees through coaching, feedback, and clear objectives.
- Ensure a safe working environment according to our global standards and Swedish occupational health legislation.
- Follow up on reported incidents, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with workplace safety efforts.
- Manage rehabilitation processes and follow up on unplanned absences in accordance with the workplace health manual.
- Professionally represent the company to customers, suppliers, and business partners.
- At least 3 years of experience in production work in a leadership role.
- Knowledge of Swedish labor law and occupational health legislation.
- Experience in production processes, project management, and improvement programs such as KAIZEN, TPM, SMED, Lean, and 5S.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in coaching, feedback, and team development.
- Good analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience working with MS Office and digital production tools.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle conflicts constructively.
