Who you are

The Solution Delivery Leader is a key leadership role, responsible for managing digital projects/transformation programs in a complex ecosystem. For this role we believe you have:

  1. Solid SAP S4/Ariba Program delivery experience.
  2. Experience of delivering multi-country implementations of SAP SaaS products and SAP S4/HANA platform as a program director or Delivery Director.
  3. Strong People Leadership capabilities, building high performing, cohesive and collaborative teams.
  4. Acts as a positive force to bring out the best in people.
  5. Must lead by example in line with IKEA values and leadership compass.

You have experience in the following areas:

  1. 10+ years of experience in the SAP or ERP ecosystem.
  2. 10+ years of proven experience in delivering large, complex projects/programs across 15+ countries.
  3. Strong knowledge of the SAP platform and retail domain.
  4. Practitioner experience with a strong understanding of various project management and agile frameworks.
  5. Strong formal communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, etc.).
  6. Ability to deliver outcomes and unlock/enable business value in complex ecosystems.
  7. Strong Planning, execution, and risk management skills.
  8. Demonstrated ability to identify, plan, and execute for holistic delivery.
  9. Makes effective decisions with speed, based on facts and logic.
  10. Strong people and supplier management capability.
  11. Proven ability to work with Senior business and digital stakeholders.
  12. Leverages critical thinking to bring effective solutions/processes.
  13. Ability to challenge supplier solutions and delivery.
  14. Must have accountability and ownership mindset.
  15. Exhibits strong drive, judgment, and initiative to deliver effectively.
  16. Strong rigor & perseverance to analyze issues in depth for long-term solutions.
A day in your life with us

As the Solution delivery leader, you will be responsible for:

  1. On time, full scope, with zero defects and within budget delivery of projects/programs/initiatives/transformations.
  2. Successful implementation and deployment of the SAP platform solutions.
  3. Alignment of the SAP platform architecture with organizational strategies and future growth plans.
  4. Ensure adoption of solutions and processes that result in improved efficiency and productivity.
  5. Build strong collaboration with teams and stakeholders across multiple business functions.

This role will lead digital teams within the Business Support domain, collaborating across Digital domains and Business Functions. You will be responsible for:

Stakeholder Management
  1. Identifying key stakeholders and their needs, interests, and expectations.
  2. Cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders.
  3. Effective communication skills that drive clarity and purpose.
  4. Managing stakeholder expectations and addressing concerns proactively.
  5. Understanding and leveraging stakeholder feedback to drive improvements.

Delivery, Planning and Execution
  1. Applying in-depth understanding of various delivery models and methodologies.
  2. Identifying, planning, and executing for holistic delivery.
  3. Creating and managing plans and schedules, escalation paths, and risks.
  4. Ensuring deliverables and associated risks are completed on time.
Problem-Solving and Decision-Making
  1. Applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  2. Making well-informed decisions based on data and insights.
  3. Encouraging a culture of problem-solving and innovation.
Supplier Management
  1. Building good supplier relations.
  2. Driving timely, full scope, and quality delivery.
