AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers, ensuring continual access to innovation for customers. We work on challenging problems and are looking for talented people to help.
You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, network engineers, supply‑chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost. You’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own projects to completion.
Key job responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop comprehensive vision and goals for Data Center Operations across the Sweden region
- Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and cultivate a high‑performing management team
- Operational Excellence: Optimize existing data center processes and implement innovative improvement strategies
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee maintenance of current data centers and support expansion of new facilities
- Performance Optimization: Establish clear performance metrics, track progress, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience managing large‑scale technological services
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing high‑performing teams, including direct management of people managers
- Proven ability to deliver complex technological projects
- Technical understanding of data center infrastructure
- Valid EU driving license
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced knowledge of network scaling and hardware systems
- Experience in data center operations
- Advanced degree in technology, engineering, or business management
- Deep understanding of server and network infrastructure
