Digital Operations is a new organization optimizing OSTTRA's client and operational processes through automation and advanced technology. Operating with a startup mindset, cross-regional presence, and a flat structure, our mission is to minimize manual effort across Client Services and our clients, automate repetitive tasks, generate data-driven client insights, and drive product development for enhanced automation.

Role Overview:

The Solution Design Analyst is a crucial role within the Digital Operations organization, responsible for supporting the design and implementation of technology-driven solutions that optimize OSTTRA's processes and operations. This includes optimizing client resource usage, user experience, and the value clients gain from OSTTRA's products and services. By enhancing client-facing processes and optimizing internal workflows, the Solution Design Analyst directly contributes to improved client time and cost efficiency, while maximizing the overall value delivered by OSTTRA. This role involves working closely with other analysts, development teams, and various stakeholders to analyze, design, and implement effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Analysis and Data Gathering: Conduct detailed analyses of client service workflows, particularly within Salesforce, to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, manual processes, and areas ripe for automation and self-service solutions. Gather data, interview stakeholders, and document existing processes. Analyze historical support cases to identify trends and recurring issues, informing optimization strategies.
2. AI-Driven Analysis and Prototyping: Utilize AI and machine learning tools to analyze data, identify patterns, and develop prototypes for AI-driven solutions. Experiment with generative AI models for data augmentation, synthetic data generation, and automation of insights.
3. Development and Scripting: Develop scripts and basic applications (e.g., Python) to automate data collection, processing, and reporting. Create proof-of-concept solutions and prototypes to demonstrate feasibility and gather feedback.
4. Cross-Functional Solution Design Support: Assist in partnering with product development teams and product managers to design and specify technology solutions that optimize identified operational needs. Contribute to the design and enhancement of both central solutions and product-specific features and services. Help develop detailed specifications and documentation to guide technology implementation.
5. Implementation Support and Testing: Support the implementation of end-to-end solutions, assisting with testing, debugging, and deployment. Analyze solution performance post-implementation, providing feedback and suggestions for iterative improvements.
6. Documentation and Reporting: Create clear and concise documentation of processes, solutions, and analysis findings. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
7. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest AI technologies, automation tools, and software development practices. Participate in training and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• A strong background in finance, statistics, industrial management, or a related field, with a keen interest in technology and its application within financial services.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns, extract insights from data, and develop effective optimization strategies.
• Basic programming skills, particularly in Python, for scripting and automation purposes.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, and a willingness to learn and apply AI tools and techniques.
• Experience in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Looker).
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and diverse teams.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Project management skills, a process-oriented mindset, and an awareness of change management practices.
• A foundational understanding of technology, including automation tools and software development processes.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python for scripting and basic development.
• Familiarity with AI/ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, Keras) is a plus.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
