About the Role | Enterprise Architect with focus on Data Integration

The Enterprise Architect team in Tryg is one of few functions that currently work across all business divisions as well as geographical locations. This team therefore works implicitly as a cultural banner for the journey towards the new composite organization, hence the communicational skills and the ability to read, understand and thrive in a large organization, with a great amount of stakeholder management is important to succeed in this role.

One of the "must win battles" is to further invest and leverage on the Data Capabilities supporting efficient delivery of Business Intelligence, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and System Integration. To further accelerate this journey, and to maintain control of this development, Tryg has recently launched a new IT strategy, where one key goal is to strengthen the Data Engineering and Management capability, clarifying responsibilities for enabling data for company use in a forward-leaning manner. We are now looking for one more Enterprise Architect to help us with this exciting challenge

We imagine your core tasks will be:

  • Deliver, maintain, and communicate business-aligned architecture roadmaps.
  • Alignment on architectural designs between Technology & Data strategies, including designing and implementing data domain thinking.
  • Advise on ways to apply data integration across use cases for system integration, e.g. by guiding and bridging the data management platform in Tryg.
  • Provide expert advice on technology reviews, feasibility studies, concepts, and business cases.
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of organization-wide business-aligned technology strategies and reference architecture.

These tasks ensure that the business achieves continuous improvement and alignment to the Tryg IT Architecture Target Picture, supporting efficient and innovative use of IT within the domain.

About You | Solid toolbox to use on exciting challenges

As an Enterprise Data Technology Architect, you will be exposed to a tech stack that includes tools for data management activities such as data lineage, data taxonomy, data modeling, data quality, metadata, and document management.

We feel that it is important that you:

  • Have a higher education in Information Technology or other relevant areas, or certificates in relevant areas.
  • Experience in IT and Enterprise Architecture.
  • Experience from the Insurance or Financial Services industry.
  • Possess strong communicative skills and thrive interacting with the team, departments, business managers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Are structured, analytical, and can conceptualize complex architectural issues.
  • Seek agile environments and wish to focus on your own skills, the team's skills, and the company's skills in this area.
  • Have experience in Data Integration, BI, Data Warehouse, Big Data, and/or Data Management.
