Job Description

The Global Cloud Infrastructure Team is seeking a skilled Hybrid Cloud Operations Engineer to join our international team. As part of this dynamic team, you will play a key role in supporting our commercial offerings. Unit4 operates a sophisticated infrastructure spanning Microsoft Azure and on-premises data centers in Sweden. In this role, you will primarily work with Windows Server Virtual Machines deployed on VMware while also assisting in the setup of virtual networks and Azure native solutions.

Qualifications

Required:

  1. 5+ years of relevant experience
  2. Deep knowledge of Windows Server architecture and Active Directory
  3. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
  4. Minimum 4 years experience with VMware and virtualization technologies
  5. Experience automating Windows systems using PowerShell or similar methods
  6. Hands-on experience with physical data centers, including cabling, moving components, etc.
  7. Flexibility to work outside of office hours and participate in weekend on-call support.
  8. Strong prioritization skills, both independently and as part of a team
  9. Proficient troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues
  10. Passion for learning new technologies and exploring innovative ideas
  11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with internal and external customers

Nice to Have:

  1. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure & Microsoft certifications
  2. Experience with Dell Servers, Cisco Network devices
  3. Knowledge of networking (VPN setup), file transfer servers, Microsoft SQL, and PKI infrastructure
  4. Experience with AWS
