At present, we are supporting a life-sciences client as they are looking for interim support for an exciting R&D venture within the Biological arena. In this function, we are looking for a 'Downstream Scientist – Process Development' to work on an extended project for at least one year on a full-time basis (1.0 FTE). This project will be based in Stockholm onsite and will ideally commence on 1st January.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and optimise Downstream processes for Biological products
2. Ensure all process development work is completed within Regulatory requirements
3. Provide technical and scientific support relating to various aspects including tech transfers, manufacturing processes, troubleshooting, etc.
4. Work successfully on a cross-functional basis and manage external partners when required
5. Write SOPs, protocols, and other relevant technical documents
6. Support Regulatory submission activities
7. Overall support to DSP activities and other process development areas where required

Minimum Requirements:

1. Must be educated to at least a Bachelors or higher within a life-sciences discipline
2. Must be able to demonstrate key experience in Downstream process development for Biological products (a must)
3. Fluency in English
4. Must be able to demonstrate hands-on skills in the development of DSP production processes
5. Can perform the project as designated within the job description
