JUNIOR / MIDDLEWEIGHT / SENIOR FF&E DESIGNER
At Tillberg Design of Sweden (part of Viken Group), your ideas and concepts develop into designs that will be experienced onboard cruises & yachts all over the world. Person in that position will be developing and sourcing designs for either luxury or commercial sectors: Cruise-ship, Cruise-yacht.
What will stand out is your skill set that combines design expertise with an understanding of materials, sourcing and project management. Strong merits include experience in architectural design industry, as well as residential or hospitality.
The role of Designer in TDoS FF&E (furniture, fixtures & equipment) studio includes tasks as:
- Supporting project throughout all design phases
- Close collaboration with Designers and Project Managers
- Ensuring consistency of the overall design concept
- Space planning
- Developing of specifications
- Coordination of CGI visuals, in collaboration with design team
- Presentations to clients / support Seniors
- Producing mood and material boards
- Budget support / management
- Logistics and Installation coordination / support
Requirements:
- 2-5 (Junior), 5-7 (Mid), 7-10 (Senior) years of experience in the field
- Good (Junior-Mid) / Expert (Senior) knowledge in materials; know-how, selecting and specifying
- Degree in Interior Design or equivalent
- Industry knowledge: trends, details, materials, brands
- Compliance and Standards for furniture and fixtures – architectural and marine
- Codes and Regulations – marine and shipbuilding related
- Proficiency in English
- Creativity
- Team player attitude
- Preferred knowledge of tools such as: MS Word, Rhino, Archicad, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, AI,
