Vattenfall Hydro is now recruiting a project manager who will work on construction and dam projects. The work is versatile, fun, and responsible - you will work in an environment characterized by competence, development, and positive people who are happy to share knowledge.

We are constantly working on developing our operations to meet external requirements and would like you with your experience to contribute to our ongoing development. You will be part of the Construction & Dam Projects department, where there are currently 11 project managers located geographically from Trollhättan to Jokkmokk. This position is located in Sundsvall.

Project Manager for Construction and Dam Projects

You will work on projects along the Indalsälven and Ångermanälven rivers. As a project manager, you will create conditions and ensure that project goals can be achieved. You are involved all the way from feasibility studies and planning to implementation and handover of the completed project. You will, among other tasks:

• Plan and manage investment projects of varying complexity and size.
• Lead and engage project resources (both internal and external) and collaborate with various functions within Vattenfall Hydro.
• Work on procurement issues (we are not subject to the Public Procurement Act and you will have the support of our procurement department in the procurement process).
• Be responsible for forecasts, financial monitoring, project safety, environment, quality, and time management.
• Ensure that dam safety aspects are followed.
• Be responsible for reporting and systematic deviation management.

Your qualifications as a project manager

• Post-secondary education (university, college, vocational, professional) with a focus on construction and civil engineering, or equivalent competence acquired through work experience.
• Solid experience in project management, investment projects, and contract law.
• Experience in the civil engineering sector and construction industry.
• Good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written), knowledge of English is desirable.
• Driver's license (B) and ability to travel for work.

It is advantageous if you have work experience in hydraulic engineering and have worked on dam construction issues and/or dam structures. Knowledge of mechanical construction and electrical engineering is a plus.
