Everyday life as an Android Developer at EasyPark

Drive towards our mission of making cities more livable by empowering yourself and the team to succeed using the latest Android technologies and proven methods Together with the rest of the team plan and deliver features and technical enhancements according to the team mission and overarching goals of the company Effectively use and make improvements to the automated testing strategies to accelerate delivery and quality of product features Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements Challenge product decisions to be accountable for value and drive innovation Take responsibility for the overall efforts, goals and quality as part of a prestigeless team Work as a team to elevate technology and apply best practices Help continuously improve the agile ways of working within the team and the Android chapter Understand ways in which to monitor infrastructure and applications, track metrics and build alerts into the monitoring solutions. It would be beneficial to have commercial experience working with NodeJS applications and serverless architectures.


Who are you:

Excellent communication skills Be passionate about great app design Experience with hands-on software engineering as part of a larger team or project Understanding of modern testing methodologies Experience working with testing frameworks - We need someone with experience of multiple types of automated testing and who understands Android common practices as well as the testing pyramid Ability to collaborate with developers and others on best practices for code quality, including code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration Strong ability to self manage - A person who is self driven, and can take action & will continue to learn without being told/pushed to do so. Experienced with maintenance and evolution of technical documentation


Your Background:

At least five years of in depth working knowledge of software development
Excellent understanding of Kotlin and Java Knowledge of mobile architecture and modern design patterns Up to date knowledge of current technologies such as Jetpack compose In depth understanding of Gradle build systems Proven detailed working knowledge of CI/CD Demonstrated experience with AWS

This position can be located in either Stockholm, Sweden, or Basingstoke, UK. Fluency in English is a requirement for this role, while proficiency in Swedish is not necessary.
