We're on the lookout for a highly motivated and skilled Operational Buyer to join our lively and fast-paced work environment. As an Operational Buyer at Hitachi Energy, you'll be crucial in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders is key, along with keen attention to detail to ensure we have the necessary materials at the right time. By prioritizing continuous improvement, you'll have the opportunity to steer positive changes and have a tangible impact on our business.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Place purchase orders in SAP S/4 Hana based on business requirements.
  • Monitor order acknowledgements.
  • Handle rescheduling of orders and forecasts.
  • Coordinate closely with suppliers to track deliveries.
  • Ensure timely and quality material deliveries.
  • Communicate internally about delays and potential material shortages.
  • Manage security stock levels.
  • Oversee invoice management.
  • Track, follow up, and enhance KPIs such as Supplier-On-Time-Delivery.
  • Address claims with suppliers.
  • Promote the Hitachi Energy agenda with suppliers.
  • Engage in all the above activities in close cooperation with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Your Background:

  • Display either the right attitude and willingness to learn and grow or have some experience in a similar role.
  • Sound understanding of commercial terms.
  • Proficient in negotiation.
  • Well-organized, self-motivated individual with a focus on details.
  • Team player with exceptional communication skills.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, knowledge of other languages is a bonus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and potentially ERP systems like SAP S/4 Hana.
