Job Description

At Ringhals, we are investing in the future of nuclear power. Do you want to be part of an exciting journey where you will receive training and hands-on experience to specialize in nuclear power and contribute to Sweden's electricity supply? Then we have the job for you.

By joining us on our journey towards the future of nuclear power, you will participate in our specially designed internal program in Control and Instrumentation, Electrical, and Automation, with a focus on nuclear power expertise. You will be part of a specialized group at Ringhals and assigned a mentor within the group.

To ensure a solid start in your position with us, you will go through our tailored internal program where you will gain theoretical knowledge and practical experience in different departments. The program lasts for 8 months, and after that, you will continue your employment within the same group, with the possibility of relocation based on experience, knowledge, and interests. We look forward to having you as part of our team.

Who Are We?

As an Instrument Technician at Ringhals, you will be part of the operational technical group responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance such as calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of sensors in the field for our control systems. There are also opportunities to work in our shared workshop where we repair electronics, calibrate instruments, and develop equipment for fuel management.

We work together in teams across various areas, including protection and control systems for the reactor and turbine, support systems for activity measurement, public address system, telephony, physical security, and fire alarms. This work is done in close collaboration with our maintenance engineers. We aim to share our expertise and maintain an open climate where all questions are welcome. The deep expertise we have in-house is something we are proud of and consider a significant strength. The goal is to continue to nurture and develop this expertise over time, where you will be a key player for us.
