Description

In this role you will assemble master schedule reporting regarding performance to the business plan, the shipment plan, the inventory plan, and the production plan. Identify current planned level of demand and create tactical production plans to meet the identified customer demand. Calculate production lead times. Manage load levelling and bottleneck scheduling and utilize theory of constraints (TOC) for more accurate scheduling. Analyze production floor status through input/output control reporting.

Your Responsibilities

  • Activity and resource planning for production, meet customer demands and ensure production efficiency.
  • Analyses project requirements with the project team, checking that all essential work activities have been identified in sufficient detail to provide realistic project schedules.
  • Ensure the Project Manager is informed of any deviations or scheduling issues.
  • Setting up loading charts, maintain and follow up on planning, production schedule performance, S&OP planning, and tender inputs.
  • Coordinate with production planners, production leaders, and SCM to always have an updated production plan and ensure timely delivery.
  • Take a proactive role and drive the development of planning activities to improve and create processes.

Your Background

  • Previous experience in planning and scheduling, proven records of a practical approach towards planning and knowledge of production processes.
  • Previous experience in project management, managing internal communications, inventory handling, adjustments balancing, quality issues, and/or similar area is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects, remain calm under pressure, and prioritize efficiently.
  • Highly communicative and can collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Swedish and good knowledge of English.
