Mölnlycke seeks a Laboratory & Local Application Specialist to join the GBS (Global Business Services) team at the global headquarters in Gothenburg.

As a Laboratory & Local Application Specialist with us, you will be responsible for managing Mölnlycke HQ's local and facility applications, collaborating closely with the IT department and R&D team to support the Laboratory effectively. Your role also involves addressing local IT needs and aligning solutions with global initiatives, utilizing digital technology and data to drive value creation.

Your main tasks include:

  • Drive and support MHC HQ's Laboratory, local, and facility applications while ensuring team performance.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Manage relevant local applications within the role's scope, adhering to the Global IT organization's quality standards.
  • Perform quality configuration and development work on IT systems within scope.
  • Lead operational support efforts and maintain collaboration with global IT teams for successful project delivery.
  • Provide local insights and feedback to the global delivery team.
  • Deliver assigned backlog items and iterations.
  • Develop expertise in the relevant area, including business processes, technologies, and data.

What you'll need:

University Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in IT solution operation or development

Experience with agile development and DevOps methods, including Software Delivery Lifecycle processes and Application Lifecycle Management

Experience in utilizing digital technology to drive business impact

Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of customer needs

Strong communication skills, both oral and written, in English

Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders

Ability to innovate and present new ideas and solutions

Technical expertise in a laboratory environment is advantageous
