As a Research Engineer in organic chemistry and surface chemistry modification, you will play a key role in our Surface Design team based in Uppsala. This position offers a chance to work on groundbreaking products that are essential for the production of vital biological drugs.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct experimental work in surface/organic chemistry.
  • Troubleshoot and solve project-related issues.
  • Characterize prototypes and analyze results.
  • Independently manage tasks to achieve project goals.
  • Document and communicate findings effectively.
Requirements:
  • MSc in Organic/Surface or Polymer Chemistry (or equivalent experience).
  • Several years of experience in industrial development or R&D.
  • Proficiency in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with protein conjugation to polymers or polysaccharides.
  • Familiarity with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards.
