About the Team

At Zenseact, our data team manages a vast stream of sensor data from our data collection fleet. Our mission is to build systems that concentrate this data to advance Zenseact's perception stack development. This data is crucial for developing our Deep Learning-based products, an integral part of our strategy.

Your Role

As a key member of our team, you will:

  • Expand our core database layer, and optimize data processing and annotation pipelines.
  • Interact with multiple stakeholders to manage data essential for perception solutions.
  • Enable the development of the first fully autonomous car by Zenseact.

Responsibilities

  • Design and Develop: Create robust, scalable, and high-performance data pipelines.
  • Optimize and Automate: Continuously improve pipeline steps for robustness and automation.
  • Collaborate: Engage with Deep Learning teams to refine data collection and annotation efforts.
  • Innovate: Stay updated with emerging data engineering technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Several years in data engineering with strong Python coding skills.
  • Skills: Proficient in handling large volumes of data, API design, and SQL database use.
  • Education: Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Engineering Physics, Robotics, or related fields.
