Bank/Financial Services - Multiple Positions

Customer is running a Transformation Program within the BB area, with several initiatives identified and planned for.

You will be part of the test team decomposing business and functional requirements into test case scenarios, defining test data, managing test case creation and other preparation activities, as well as executing manual functional and UAT testing, track, and validate defects.

This role necessitates experience from the Swedish bank/financial services, user acceptance, regression, and functional testing. The candidate must develop knowledge of applications, functionality, and business processes to ensure that the software aligns with user requirements. Additionally, a suitable candidate for this role should have experience with end-to-end software system testing.

Main Responsibilities

  • Review functional and technical documentation to identify requirements for creating test cases.
  • Create, modify, and execute precise manual test cases based on business requirements, document, and report results.
  • Understand test data requirements, plan, and condition test data for complex scenarios.
  • Track and validate defects.
  • Collaborate with business testers as necessary to support User Acceptance Testing.
  • Conduct all levels of testing (UAT, integration, regression) and analyze results.
  • Aid in identifying regression and user acceptance test sets for FAT.
  • Assist in determining end-to-end test coverage.

Skills

  • Familiarity with agile frameworks
  • Experience with Jira or equivalent bug tracking software (DevTrack, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills in English (proficiency in Swedish is a plus)
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving approach
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Capability to independently plan and execute day-to-day work

Overall Required Experience

  • Manual testing experience necessary
  • UAT, regression, functional testing experience required
  • Experience with end-to-end software system testing necessary
  • Testing experience from Swedish bank/finance services required
  • Testing experience from complex system landscape, long flows across multiple applications required
  • Decomposing business and functional requirements into test case scenarios

Location:

  • Stockholm is the preferred location
  • The candidate is expected to spend a few days onsite in the office
