About the Role
We are currently seeking a Business Manager for Hermods Komvux who shares our vision of the transformative power of education on societies. As a Business Manager, you will have operational responsibility for one of Sweden's largest adult education providers. You will be in charge of quality, staff, budget, and results, directly managing two regional managers and department heads. Together, you will form an operational management team.

In this key role, you will lead and develop the business alongside experienced colleagues in a professional environment focused on quality, development, and digitalization. Working towards meeting the needs of society and municipalities regarding adult education, your goal is to ensure that Hermods Komvux remains one of the leading providers in Sweden, enhancing the country's competitiveness and addressing societal challenges.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a confident, experienced, and inclusive leader familiar with managing competitive and geographically diverse operations in constant evolution.
• Has a strong customer focus and excellent communication skills.
• Is structured and goal-oriented with a good understanding of finance and analytical abilities.
• Is adept at conveying vision, goals, and purposes to individuals, groups, and organizations.

Requirements for the role:

• Several years of experience as a manager with financial and personnel responsibility in adult education within the public sector or independent educational companies.
• Experience in leading remote operations and driving change through digitalization.
• Ability to balance strategic and operational perspectives and tasks.
• Experience in building proactive customer relationships with an understanding of market perspectives and customer needs.
• Relevant academic background.
• Principal training.
• Fluency in Swedish and English.
• High proficiency in systems and a keen interest in new technology.
