QIAGEN DNA Synthesis AB in Sweden has been a pioneer in producing top-notch synthetic DNA for diagnostic applications for over three decades. Located in Västerås, with a workforce of around 100 professionals, we adhere to the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Position Description

Are you ready to contribute to life-saving products worldwide? Do you possess meticulousness, flexibility, and a team-oriented mindset? Join our vibrant laboratory team dedicated to supporting each other wherever needed.

As a laboratory assistant, your primary responsibilities will revolve around hands-on work in our production department. You will be involved in the manufacturing of oligonucleotides (synthetic DNA), with opportunities for skill development throughout the production chain. Your tasks will include product analysis and data reporting.

Ideally, you should have a background in natural sciences at the high school level or equivalent experience. Additional education in Chemistry or Biology post-high school is advantageous. Prior knowledge of GMP and laboratory practices is a plus. Proficiency in English and Swedish, both spoken and written, is essential. Strong computer skills, including handling and presenting data using Office software, are required.
