We seek a Package Laboratory Engineer to join a global companyin Lund.

This is a one-year consultant contract starting August 1st 2024. Possible to be extended.

Package Analysis is a global internal service provider responsible for verification, validation, and development tests for various packaging development projects within the Development and Technology organisation. As a Package Laboratory Engineer, you will be involved in technical activities related to the different D&T programs and projects.

In this role, you will

  • Be part of a team of experts on test methods and be the speaking partner between the lab (who performs the tests) and the test requesters.
  • Plan, organize and execute non-standard methods.
  • Document and follow up package test activities by using an internal reporting system.
  • Analyse and write test reports on routine validation as well as development activities.
  • Participate in the development of new test methods.
  • Drive Continuous improvement of existing test methods.
  • Provide data analysis services for package development data.
  • Drive continuous improvement/capability activities.

Required skills:

  • A university degree in engineering/science or similar.
  • As a person, we expect you to be open-minded and a team player, able to create good relationships and support colleagues to achieve personal and team goals.
  • You have good drive skills used to lead activities, take initiative, and manage tasks and activities independently.
  • You are structured, quality-conscious and pay attention to details.
  • You are an analytical problem solver and have clear communication skills.
  • You are fluent in English, both written and verbal.
