Texstar är idag ett av de ledande företagen inom lätta arbets- och profilkläder i Sverige och har sin huvudverksamhet i Norrtälje norr om Stockholm. Bolaget förvärvades år 2001 av Ulf Svensson, som senare tog in en partner och delägare i Mats Ågren runt 2011. Båda har lång yrkeserfarenhet från branschen. Texstar har idag två huvudsegment: lätta arbets- och profilkläder samt uniformer för ordningsvakter/väktare. År 2019 förvärvade Texstar WAW AB, (Wear at Work AB), vilket utökade de befintliga segmenten med ett tredje inriktat på Vård & Omsorg, och dental.

Texstar utvecklar hybrida arbetskläder för drivna team, kläder som anpassar sig till uppgiften och den som utför den. Med ett komplett sortiment kan de erbjuda något som passar alla - oavsett roll, arbetsuppgift, kroppsform eller smak. Från kontoret till åkern, för soliga morgnar och blåsiga nätter, för idag men också för imorgon.

Texstar arbetar med flertalet erkända och professionella designers från såväl modevärlden som outdoor- och sportbranschen för att säkerställa att färg och form går hand i hand med funktion. Kläderna ska inte bara vara slitstarka och funktionella utan även snygga och moderna. Texstar har valt att endast arbeta i fem olika färgställningar för att förenkla och effektivisera urvalet för kunden.

Texstars kunskap om kläder, material och design är omfattande, och de har egen produktion i Kina och kontor i Shanghai, vilket ger dem kontroll över hela produktionskedjan utan några mellanhänder.

Texstar är inne i en expansiv fas där nya produktsegment lanseras och marknaden breddas. De söker nu en Produktutvecklare som kommer ansvara för att driva produktens utvecklingsprocess från initial design till slutprodukt enligt satta direktiv, för att på bästa sätt stödja bolagens KPI:er och uppsatta mål.

Rollen produktutvecklare är central för produktskapandeprocessen hos Texstar. Det krävs därmed goda organisatoriska och kommunikationsmässiga färdigheter hos deras medarbetare med väldigt god förmåga att hantera hinder, deadlines och intressentrelationer. Som produktutvecklare på Texstar är du en person som besitter produktexpertis, har en innovativ och lösningsorienterad attityd med en fingertoppkänsla för kvalitet och hantverk. Vidare har du ett driv att vilja förstå marknadens och kundernas förväntningar på produkterna och påverkande faktorer. Dagliga och viktiga interaktioner är med CPO, designer, mönsterkonstruktörer, varuflöde, CEO, CSO, Kina och Bangladesh kontor, QC, agenter och leverantörer.

Arbetsuppgifter och ansvarsområden:

  • Driva produktutveckling utifrån produkt, design och hållbarhetskrav.
  • Skapandet av BOMar, måttlistor, materialval och utskick av tech packs i enlighet med satta deadlines.
  • Proaktivt arbeta för att säkerställa högkvalitativa produkter.
  • Kontinuerligt hålla system och dokumentationer uppdaterade.
  • Daglig kommunikation med leverantörer, agenter och övriga intressenter.
  • Kontakt med branschinstitut och hållbarhetsorganisationer.
  • Insamling och bearbetning av dokument relaterade till certifieringar, testning och hållbarhet.
  • Driva silo-projekt enligt direktiv från CPO.

Kvalifikationer och erfarenhet

För att lyckas i rollen som Produktutvecklare bör du ha en naturlig fallenhet för produkt-och sortimentsutveckling. Känsla för materialkunskap och textillära, förstå färg och form, men även kvalitet. Texstar söker en person med god erfarenhet och inom yrkeskläder/arbets-profilkläder, sport, mode och/eller textil. Detaljhandelsbakgrund är nödvändig. Vi tror att du idag sitter i motsvarande befattning, med prioritering på produktutveckling, inom ett mellanstort eller stort internationellt detaljhandelsföretag med ett par års erfarenhet. Det är av stor vikt att förstå hela arbetsprocessen från idé till produktion och slutlig försäljning i butik.

  • Har examen i textil (Akademisk utbildning från högskola/universitet är meriterande).
  • Har minimum 3 års erfarenhet av att jobbat inom produktutveckling inom klädbranschen (arbetskläder är meriterande).
  • Känner dig bekväm med deadlines och en arbetsmiljö med högt tempo.
  • Har ett öga för detaljer och fingertoppskänsla för kvalitet och hantverk (erfarenhet av mönsterkonstruktion är meriterande).
  • Är flytande i engelska i tal och skrift.
  • Goda Microsoft Office/Excel kunskaper är ett krav.
  • Adobe Illustrator kunskaper är meriterande.

Ditt fokus ligger alltid på att leverera kvalitet och unik design, och du förstår vikten av att utveckla produkter som är kommersiellt framgångsrika i alla distributionskanaler.
