About the position:

We are on the lookout for an ambitious Junior Computer-Aided Engineer (CAE) to join our team, specializing in the IT infrastructure segment of our delivery process. As a Junior CAE Engineer, your responsibilities will revolve around supporting our computational analysis and engineering initiatives, with a focus on optimizing and maintaining our IT infrastructure systems.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with senior engineers to analyze, design, and implement IT infrastructure solutions supporting our computational analysis and engineering workflows.
  • Assisting in deploying simulation tools and software applications to ensure peak performance and reliability.
  • Regularly monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT systems to promptly identify and resolve issues.
  • Integrating new technologies and tools into our existing infrastructure to boost efficiency and productivity.
  • Documenting processes, procedures, and best practices related to IT infrastructure management and utilization.
  • Providing technical support and assistance to internal teams regarding IT infrastructure-related inquiries and requirements.

Requirements:

  • M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with computational analysis and engineering software tools like CAE, CAD, and simulation software.
  • Solid grasp of IT infrastructure principles including networking, storage, virtualization, and cloud computing.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java for automation and scripting tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with keen attention to detail.
