About This Opportunity
Be part of our dynamic team in the newly established Frontend CAD department, dedicated to defining methodologies and EDA workflows across our global R&D sites in Austin, Stockholm, and Lund. Join the Ericsson Silicon engineering unit working on cutting-edge ASICs and FPGAs for 5G telecommunications, offering great opportunities for career growth and learning.

What you will do:

  • Lead the day-to-day development, deployment, and support of complex tool flows in Frontend Design & Verification.
  • Drive innovation in design processes and methodologies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration by working closely with different teams in design, verification, testing, and manufacturing.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among these groups.
  • Identify and address technical challenges during the silicon design process.
  • Implement processes for ensuring quality of silicon design.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment.

Skills you bring:

  • Deep expertise in ASIC IP/ASIC SoC design, RTL, Verilog, UVM, and System Verilog.
  • Proficiency in front-end tools.
  • Familiarity with synthesis, static timing analysis, and Design-For-Test (DFT).
  • Knowledge of System-Verilog assertions and advanced design verification techniques.
  • Familiarity with CloudBees Jenkins continuous integration methodologies.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, bash, csh, etc.
  • Extensive understanding of modern design methodologies.
  • Experience in coordinating and supporting engineering teams.
  • Deep experience with compute batching solutions.
  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar with proven experience.
