We are looking for a Senior iOS Developer to join the Experience domain Our Experience domain builds the core parts of our product, such as the audio player, reviews, search, and bookshelf in the Storytel app for iOS, watchOS, and CarPlay.

About you
You are an experienced iOS developer motivated by solving problems in complex systems together with full-stack teams and getting involved in all of the stages of the development process.

You are inspired by delivering high-quality products and supporting others to maintain a high standard, understanding agile principles, and applying them to deliver value incrementally.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop within technical leadership and mentor more junior developers as a role model.

Among your experiences and skills, we look for the following:

Swift, Swift Concurrency, UIKit, Combine, experience with sqlite and sqlite libraries for iOS, and knowledge around AVFoundation.
5+ years of experience with native iOS codebases for at least 1 iOS application
As an iOS developer, you keep yourself updated with the latest best practices, common frameworks, and tools.
Ability to lead and collaborate on high-impact and complex projects from proposal through post-mortem. See best practices applied by educating, workshopping, pair programming, and other similar activities involving your co-workers.
You are comfortable with experimenting and exploring new domains, both in business and technology.

About the team
We work in small, cross-functional teams focused on delivering the most reliable and seamless audiobook and ebook experiences to millions of users. Developers collaborate closely with other developers, designers, researchers, product managers, and engineering managers to build an end-to-end solution. Teams take responsibility for the whole cycle of development, from ideation to implementation, testing, and shipping.
