Role Overview:
We're on the hunt for a brilliant ML/Quant Engineer with a deep understanding of mathematics and statistics, ready to tackle the challenges of sports data with sophisticated models and algorithms. This role is crucial for developing and refining our predictive models that are central to our AI-driven betting strategies. You'll collaborate closely with data engineers and scientists, bringing a mathematical lens to enhance our algorithms and strategies.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement advanced mathematical models and machine learning algorithms for predictive analytics in sports betting. Conduct rigorous statistical analysis to understand data patterns, validate models, and enhance prediction accuracy. Work with large-scale, real-time, and historical sports data sets, applying quantitative techniques to extract actionable insights. Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate algorithms into our production systems, ensuring they operate efficiently at scale. Keep abreast of the latest developments in quantitative finance, machine learning, and sports analytics, applying them to improve our models and strategies. Communicate complex quantitative analyses and concepts to non-technical team members to inform strategy decisions.Qualifications:
Master's or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. Strong background in mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, and machine learning algorithms. Proficiency in Python, with experience in libraries like NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, and scikit-learn. Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar deep learning frameworks. Experience in quantitative finance, algorithmic trading, or a related field is highly desirable. Ability to translate complex mathematical concepts into practical applications. Passionate about sports and leveraging data to solve complex problems in sports betting.
