With a dedicated team of over 40 experts in Stockholm, Tallinn, and Helsinki, we are looking to expand our technical prowess by adding a skilled Lead Developer to spearhead our development projects and contribute to our technological strategy.

About the Role:

As a Lead Developer at VNTRS, you'll play a crucial role in guiding our development team through the technical landscape. Working within our Tech Forum, you will collaborate with a dynamic group of more than 20 professionals, including full-stack developers, DevOps engineers, and architects. Your leadership will ensure our technology initiatives are aligned with VNTRS's strategic and financial goals, delivering maximum value to our customers and maintaining our edge in technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively contribute to the VNTRS Tech Forum by sharing insights, setting technical standards, and participating in strategic planning.
  • Work closely with the Head of Tech to align technical initiatives with company objectives.
  • Lead development projects, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to best practices.
  • Mentor and support full-stack developers, DevOps engineers, and architects within the team.
  • Engage in recruitment processes to identify and attract top technical talent.
  • Represent VNTRS at industry events, showcasing our technological capabilities and fostering connections.
  • Dedicate a portion of your time to hands-on development work on external projects, possibly as an Interim CTO.
Qualifications:
  • Strong technical background with expertise in Typescript (React Native with Expo) and modern cloud solutions. Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, Node.JS and Python knowledge are nice to have.
  • Demonstrated experience leading development teams and projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Previous experience in a technical consulting role or a senior position within a tech startup or scaleup is preferred.
