About Us

In 2022, Instabee was established by merging Budbee and Instabox, two prominent last-mile delivery companies with three consumer-facing brands: Budbee, Instabox, and Porterbuddy. Our Finance Tech team, responsible for ensuring precise and timely invoicing for our services, is currently seeking a backend developer. We are on a mission to transform Last Mile deliveries, and your input will be essential in fostering our growth and triumph.

Your Future Team
The team operates with significant autonomy, providing you with the chance to make a substantial impact on our systems and processes. Your efforts will directly affect our company's capacity to invoice our revenue accurately for all services.

You will collaborate closely with senior leaders across our Finance and Commercial teams, in conjunction with our Product and Engineering Managers, advocating for our solutions and outlining the reasoning behind the development decisions we make. We anticipate you to express your ideas effectively, supported by solid reasoning and data, to influence and propel the adoption of your proposals.

What We're Looking For
At Instabee, we appreciate individuals eager to learn and grow their skill set. If you're a puzzle solver who enjoys coding and making intricate things function, then this is the ideal place for you. Additionally, we presume you possess some of the following qualifications:

+3 years experience in a backend or fullstack role in a modern tech environment Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Java +1 years of experience within financial services or a strong interest in the financial sector PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB experience (or equivalent database technologies) Basic understanding of Terraform and Debian/Ubuntu (any Linux distro would apply) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
