SiNIX is now looking for a driven and innovative Senior Hardware Engineer to join our R&D hardware team located at our headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden. For this role, we expect you to be comfortable with international collaborations and have proven experience in module and project responsibilities. You need to have a business owner mindset and be able to adapt to many different company organizations.

Responsibilities

Circuit Design and Analysis:

  • Design and develop analog and digital circuits.
  • Demonstrate extensive know-how in analog and digital design.
  • Be an experienced user of PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence) to create efficient and reliable electronic hardware.
  • Leverage deep knowledge in high-speed signal integrity for optimal performance

PCB Layout and Prototyping:

  • Oversee PCB layout activities, ensuring adherence to high-speed signal integrity principles.
  • Utilize your experience as a hardware architect to optimize printed circuit board (PCB) layouts.
  • Work closely with manufacturers to ensure successful fabrication of PCBs.
  • Understand and contribute to layout work for seamless integration.

Testing and Validation:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to validate the functionality and performance of electronic hardware.
  • Utilize long experience of measurements in a well-equipped lab for thorough testing.
  • Identify and troubleshoot hardware issues, providing timely solutions to ensure product quality.

Collaboration and Documentation:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, to achieve seamless integration of hardware and software components.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for hardware designs, test procedures, and validation results.
  • Demonstrate understanding of EMC requirements in hardware designs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Experienced user of PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence).
  • Experienced hardware architect with extensive know-how in analog or digital design.
  • Meritorious with deep knowledge in high-speed signal integrity.
  • Meritorious with deep knowledge in power supply design.
  • Long experience of measurements in a well-equipped lab.
  • Understanding of layout work for PCBs.
  • Knowledge of EMC requirements in hardware designs.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
