We are looking for an individual who has a large passion for cars as for making good business. You have a drive to develop and see the results of your hard work in terms of finished products. We are looking for an individual with a background in automotive manufacturing or similar and with a high sense of quality.

The role's main duty is to operate our CMM machine. In the role you are responsible for creating and implementing measurement programs for CMM, performing measurements, and evaluating the measurement results. The task is to ensure that measured components are inspected accurately and in accordance with technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

The Metrology Technician must have a thorough skillset in interpreting drawings and use measuring tools to be successful in the role.

You should be driven and focused in finding continuously new ways in improving the Koenigsegg quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating, implementing measurement programs for CMM
  • Performing measurements, and evaluating the measurement results
  • Execute calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment.
  • Collaborating with Engineering, Quality Department and Production teams to ensure that parts meet design and quality requirements.
  • Supporting production with all quality issues and measurements.
  • Participate in purchasing of new measurement equipment.
  • Creating reports on detected nonconformities
  • Taking care of all related measuring equipment (torque wrenches, setting rings, etc) and making sure that the equipment's have valid calibration dates.
  • Providing training to operators and other personnel on how to use the CMM and associated measurement equipment safely and effectively.
  • Continuously seeking ways to improve measurement processes, reduce measurement cycle times, and enhance overall efficiency.

You are helpful and responsive at the same time as you are working systematically towards your goal. You need to be able to manage many tasks at the same time

Requirements:

  • Required experience in operating Zeiss CMM machines (Zeiss Calypso)
  • Education within metrology and/ or measurement technologies & ability to operate measuring equipment.
  • Equivalent experience within the same field of expertise.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English
  • Experience in creating measurement programs is seen as an advantage in this position
  • Experience of MONITOR ERP system is seen as an advantage in this position
  • Drivers license
