Are You Ready to Join the Front Line of Fighting Influenza?
On behalf of CSL Seqirus, part of the CSL Group, we are looking for a Nordics Medical Affairs Lead who will contribute to the successful establishment and growth of CSL Seqirus products (vaccines) in the Nordics.
At Seqirus, they are committed to combating influenza with innovative thinking, collaboration, and a relentless focus on public health. Seqirus is a transcontinental partner in pandemic preparedness and a major contributor to the prevention of influenza globally, with extensive research and production expertise and manufacturing plants in the US, UK and Australia. The company utilise both egg and cell-based technologies for influenza vaccine production and have developed the only adjuvanted seasonal influenza vaccine for elderly populations.
As the Nordics Medical Affairs Lead you will facilitate and lead launch activities across the region in partnership with country and global colleagues. You will also be responsible for developing and executing the medical plans in the Nordics.
The role reports to the Regional Medical Head North and West Europe and will be based at CSL Vifor's Nordic office in Solna.
Accountabilites:
- Develop and execute the expansion market medical plans in the Nordics. This includes working with internal and external stakeholders, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) andNITAG engagement, evidence generation planning and work on regional medical activities.
- Leading relevant advisory boards and maintaining a relationship with KOLs in the geo-expansion countries.
- Work with country and global medical teams to prepare EMEA markets for COVID and aQIVc launches.
- Lead and/or contribute to functional projects for EMEA Medical in conjunction with regional stakeholders.
- Deputise for and/or represent the Regional Head when required.
Requirements:
- Relevant academic degree (i.e. MD, PhD, or PharmD, or equivalent).
- +5-9 years' medical affairs or related industry expertise with extensive knowledge and experience of product development/life cycle management in relevant therapy area and experience in biologicals.
- Experience with vaccines and influenza is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to provide medical expertise and influence stakeholders (internal and external).
- Ability to establish relationships within Seqirus and externally, including external experts/ KOLS/ healthcare professionals, professional associations and other key stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate in a complex environment with multiple, well-established competitors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Understanding budget planning and efficient use of financial resources.
- You are a proactive team player with strong verbal & written communication skills.
