As a Power Technician, your tasks will involve troubleshooting, reconstruction, and new construction within 0.4- kV. This includes service changes, new construction, or enhancements to existing networks. Maintenance tasks such as pole replacements are also part of the job.

In addition to the technical work, some of your main responsibilities will be:

• Maintaining close communication with the department's project leaders, network company clients, and operations center.
• Documenting, informing the management about work progress, and reporting completed tasks.
• Actively contributing to creating Sweden's safest workplace by performing safe work in the field for you and your colleagues.

Travel is a natural part of the job as a Power Technician. Service work requires daily trips within the nearest geography, with longer trips possible during special events.

We work in all weather conditions, with varied workdays offering great freedom with responsibility. There are ample opportunities for growth within the role and the company.

Your profile

As a Power Technician at Vattenfall Services, you are the company's most crucial asset for fieldwork. We are seeking someone who is dedicated, always supportive of colleagues, motivated to provide service and quality to both colleagues and customers, and conducts themselves professionally in their work.

Independence is a significant part of the job, essential for driving work forward. We are looking for someone who takes responsibility, shows great commitment to their assignments, and never compromises safety for profitability. At Vattenfall Services, safety always comes first.

We expect you to evolve with us. However, we prefer candidates who already possess:

• Completed secondary education or higher, in electricity, power, engineering, or another relevant field.
• Work experience in the electrical or power sector or broad electrical knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience in the contracting industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in using computers (Office package).
• A valid B driving license for required work-related travels.
• Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. Knowledge of English is a plus.

In addition, you should have an interest in technology and not be afraid of heights, as the job involves climbing on masts and poles.
