What you will do

As an engineering manager for the Connect team, you will as part of the Professional Services department at Platform24 be responsible for implementing customer solutions and tailoring the SaaS platform to our customers' needs through configuration and integrations. You will lead a team of solution architects, integration developers, and a QA engineer. Together the team is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations that make Platform24 more powerful and connected to the customer's digital ecosystem.

As Engineering Manager for Connect, you will ensure that your team has the competence and tools to help them reach their goals. As part of the Professional Services management team, we also expect you to participate in strategic discussions and define the plan for growing our business in new markets.

You will collaborate closely with the Product Manager responsible for the product roadmap for our integration product, Connect, to ensure that your team executes and delivers on their goals and commitments.

You will report to the Head of Professional Services at Platform24, but you will also participate in the Engineering Leadership team for Patient Products to ensure that we learn from each other and build a high-performing engineering organization with a great engineering culture together.

Responsibilities of this role include

  • Coach and support individual team members
  • Recruit and grow the team
  • Ensure efficient cross-team collaboration
  • Ensure that the team delivers on its commitments
  • Make sure the integrations the team builds are developed in a sound, long term maintainable way
  • Hold technical responsibility for the team's domains, including artifacts such as code, test cases, tooling, and documentation
  • Contribute to the Professional Services as well as the Engineering leadership teams to develop the organization as a whole

To succeed in this role, you will need

  • At least 2 years in a role with people responsibility leading an engineering team
  • A strong background in agile software development
  • Deep technical knowledge of systems design and architecture
  • Understanding of the problem domain of system integrations, preferably in a SaaS context
  • Strong communication skills internally as well as with customers, you convey information with clarity and listen effectively
  • Passion for people and for helping your team members grow.
  • Experience from working in the healthtech sector or system integrations in an international setting is meriting.
