As the flight simulation market expands, especially with the advent of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and the imminent release of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, we are poised for growth and dedicated to reaching new users.

Our head office is located in the charming Gamla Stan, Stockholm, with a flexible workplace policy that allows for some remote work.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our Sales & Marketing Team. You will support the team with insightful reports and analyses. We expect that you are experienced in using Google Analytics 4 and know how to track and analyze web traffic and user behavior. Previous experience working with sales data from aSaaS company is a great merit. Understanding retention, CLV and churn is important. The bulk of our data sits in Postgres databases on AWS.

Moreover, we have during several years conducted a survey with 25,000 respondents who have answered approximately 100 questions on flight simulation preferences and habits. We are eager to analyze this huge dataset more in depth to guide our future product development.

For the right person the Data Analyst role can be made even broader and also encompass analysis of the large amounts of user-generated geographical data which our flight tracking feature gives rise to. Identifying and classifying flight phases and behaviors in flight tracking data could also be a part of your future work.

Last but not least, we want you to assistManagement and Financewith data modeling and forecasting. This is a goodopportunity to flex pivot tables and spreadsheet formulas, but the heavy lifting we do in SQL, of course.

This role requires someone who is not only technically proficient but also an excellent communicator, capable of presenting complex data clearly and succinctly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to track and analyze web traffic and user behavior.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
  • Create interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau.
  • Develop and maintain detailed and accurate spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting.
  • Provide clear and concise presentations and easily readable diagrams to communicate data insights.
  • Conduct cohort analyses, compute customer lifetime value, and explore large datasets with correlation analyses.
  • Analyze survey data to extract actionable insights using Tableau.
  • Support Sales & Marketing with detailed reports and insights.
  • Assist Management and Financewith data-driven models and forecasts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
  • 3-5 years of work experience.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Experience with Tableau for data visualization.
  • Advanced skills in spreadsheet software (Excel, Google Sheets).
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data clearly.
  • Experience with subscription business models and related analyses.
  • Knowledge of GDPA anddata governance practices to ensure data accuracy and security.
  • Understanding of data visualization best practices.
  • Familiarity with defining and tracking key performance metrics (KPIs).
  • Experience from SaaS and subscription business model is a merit.
