As a Data Engineer within our BI team, you will be part of turning raw data into actionable insights for internal stakeholders in Voyado, the leading tool for eCommerce and retail companies that want to personalize communication and customer experiences – Making brands easy to love

Tasks may include, but are not limited to:

  • Build large-scale batch and near real-time data processing systems with Python/SQL.
  • Facilitate and drive collaboration with other colleagues to build and enhance the company BI infrastructure
  • Evolving our data pipelines towards technical excellence and continuously evaluating performance at scale
  • Continuously improving our code bases by working with innovative data processing frameworks, technologies, and platforms
  • Continuously enhancing your knowledge within the world of "big data" technology as we are eager to try out new or enhanced technologies

Some examples of your daily work will be:

  • Develop and maintain a metadata drivenPython module for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)in databricks
  • Create connections to data sources
  • Transform data and apply business logic
Who you are

You are a first and foremost ateam player and someone who takes their own initiatives. You are a curious, service minded person who doesn't mind working both operatively and strategically. We value an entreprenurial mindset, someone who is self-propelled and takes a lot of responsibility over their domain.

You have some of the following skills and experiences:

As a BI Data Engineer we see that you have experience working with ETL and have good understanding of BI principles. You have strong SQL andPython development skills and have experience working in cloud environments, such as Azure, GCP or AWS.

Furthermore, you have a genuine interest for data and like to try new ways and to share your skills and knowledge with your team. You are responsible and a great communicator.
