Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role involves not only hands-on management of our online marketing efforts but also managing the tasks of one team member as well as engaging freelancers and agencies as needed to ensure our traffic and sales goals are met. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and optimize the company's paid digital marketing strategy along with a large budget to achieve the best ROAS/POAS possible, in line with traffic and sales goals.
- Using trend analysis tools, proactively identify and communicate consumer trend movements relevant to our business for assessment to the product and sales teams.
- Monitor daily traffic and sales, ensuring the smooth operation of digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook, Google Merchant Center).
- Conduct and oversee weekly optimization rounds, including search term analysis, ad creation, bid adjustments, and performance reviews.
- Implement weekly sales actions, update ads, and create new campaigns based on current needs, coordinating with colleagues, freelancers and agencies as necessary.
- Regularly review and analyze performance across search engines, social media, and price comparison sites, making necessary adjustments.
- Identify and execute cost reduction and scaling opportunities based on campaign results and performance metrics.
- Develop and improve advertising strategies, including tracking, automation, and exploring new marketing channels, in collaboration with external partners.
- Manage team tasks and activate freelancers and agencies as needed, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategy and performance goals.
- Provide regular performance overviews and participate in strategic pricing discussions.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in digital/performance marketing with a commercial focus, preferably in consumer goods retail & e-commerce..
- Strong track record of driving online sales, customer engagement, and exceptional customer experiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-driven mentality with the ability to work independently and inspire others.
- Fluent in English and either Finnish or Swedish.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and delegate tasks.
- Degree in e-commerce business, marketing, or a related field.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the sporting goods retail market is considered a bonus.
