Are you proactive, detail-oriented and are looking to leverage your expertise in securing governmental funding and subsidies? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you As a Subsidy Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that GlobalConnect is optimizing funding opportunities across the Nordics and Europe, to ensure investment and infrastructure development.

This role places you at the forefront of communication between GlobalConnect and a range of public institutions like NKOM, PTS, SDFI, and Traficom. You will be tasked with discovering and applying for funding opportunities that align with our business goals. You will ensure transparency and structure in our funding pursuits, working closely with stakeholders to integrate these opportunities seamlessly into our strategic plans within our business units NetCo and B2B. In this role you can be located in any of our offices in Stockholm, Uppsala, Copenhagen or Oslo.

Here are some examples of key responsibilities during a typical day:

  • Collecting and organizing input across the company on potential funding or subsidy opportunities.
  • Working with relevant stakeholders to align funding programs like CEF from the EU with our business plans and support the application processes.

Your daily tasks will also involve close communication with authorities, both during the funding application processes and on various day-to-day topics. This role requires you to be proactive in identifying opportunities, establishing reporting structures, and coordinating with different departments to ensure a streamlined approach to securing subsidies.

Why Join Us?

Here at GlobalConnect, we aim to create a stimulating and resourceful environment where your contributions are recognized and celebrated. This role offers you the opportunity to grow with significant responsibility. During the first three to six months, you will focus on establishing our presence, spreading the word, seeking funding, and gaining an overview of our current activities to put a structure in place. After that, you will actively participate in the application processes for our projects. By joining us, you will engage with different levels of stakeholders and both internally and externally in a role that presents opportunities for growth and recognition.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

  • Prior experience working with telecommunications authorities.
  • Comprehensive insight into the workings of telecommunications frameworks.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive and extroverted personality, comfortable with taking meetings and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
