Associate Business Analyst for our Service, Rental

We are looking for a newly graduated talent to join our M3 Service, Rental & Project application team in September 2024, as a development business analyst for the Rental & Project areas.

The M3 Service, Rental & Project applications together make out the core of our M3 CloudSuite Equipment, where Service covers the complete process of maintenance; from planning, execution and reporting to invoicing and follow up of the services provided. It is typically used by customers within the equipment and aviation industry, but could also be used for plant maintenance in factories or in other applications where a service is part of the operational model. Rental on the other hand is geared towards companies that rent or lease assets to other companies and covers the full lifecycle with fleet management, rental operations and service to make sure the assets can be utilized as much as possible during their lifetime. It could be anything from coffee machines to heavy equipment and trucks. The Project side of the application covers a variety of business models from project based installations to larger service contracts with an aim to consolidate and control both financial and operational activities.

As a business analyst, you will learn a lot.

You will analyze requirements, design functional solutions, test, document and learn to take ownership of the full product life-cycle. Our development approach is team-centric, so you will adopt agile work methods with focus on cooperation and knowledge sharing. You will gain intuition about the business practices we support for our many customers and create technical solutions to address those realities. And gradually you will understand the architecture of a powerful large-scale system.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

• Solution analysis and design for new functionality as well as improvement of existing business functionality.
• Work with the entire system development life cycle, from the drawing board to an executable feature.
• Assist and guide Infor colleagues as an M3 application expert with deep functional knowledge within an area.
• Share your ideas with fellow business analysts, collaborate with programmers, discuss new requirements with product managers.
• Continuous learning.
• Frequent check-offs, workshops and discussions.
• Coffee breaks with your team members (we have good complimentary coffee and tea) and chatting with your colleagues.

What You Will Need:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher education within Engineering or System science.
• Problem solving skills and ability to draw own conclusions.
• Can clearly communicate complex and abstract concepts.
• Can creatively address big-picture problems with a detailed-minded solution approach.
• Be a team player with ability to structure and work independently.
• Curiosity, taking on challenges and find joy in continuous learning.
• Fluent in Swedish and English.

We are looking for a colleague who has interest in or experience from software development and who is passionate about finding the best solutions and helping customers to succeed. Any prior experience in ERP system M3, or of the equipment, service/maintenance or rental industry is highly valued but not a requirement.

What Will Put You Ahead?

• A genuine interest in functional software and business processes.
• Familiarity with modern software development methodologies.
• Familiarity with ERP or Business systems, as a user or developer, with a preference for M3.
• Familiarity with the equipment, service/maintenance or rental industry.
• General programming knowledge in eg JAVA or similar, being able to read and understand programming code.
• Skills in QA and data base management.
