FP&A Controller to Grade

For our client, Grade, we are seeking a talented and experienced Controller to join their finance team. The Controller will play a key role in providing financial analysis, insights, and decision support to drive business performance and growth. This position requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will report to CFO and be placed at their headquarters in Stockholm or in Lund.

The role will support top management in financial planning i.e., budgeting and forecasting, preparing management reports to board and external stakeholders, as well as supporting the business with analyzing data and KPI:s for decision-making.

Responsibilities include but is not limited to:

• Prepare group forecasts and budget together with senior management
• Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for deviations from budget and forecasted performance.
• Analyse net working capital development, provide insight into areas of improvement as well as cash flow analysis and forecasting.
• Develop financial models and scenarios to evaluate the financial impact of business initiatives, investments, and strategic decisions.
• Assist in the preparation of business cases, investment proposals, and ad hoc financial analyses to support business initiatives.

Analysing & Reporting:

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Analyse and prepare management reports to external stakeholders.
• Monitor and assess financial risks and opportunities and recommend actions to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
• Partner with business leaders to develop, monitor, and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate business performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with operational teams to provide valuable insight to optimize cost efficiency, resource allocation, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA designation is a plus.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, preparing forecasts, or corporate finance roles, with at least 3 years of experience.
• Experience of tech industry and company with inorganic growth
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial reporting tools and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and quantitative techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial analysis into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in financial analysis and reporting.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of key business drivers and performance metrics.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Fluent in both Swedish and English.
