At ICA Sverige, the Assortment and Procurement department focuses on creating an attractive, customer-oriented, and profitable range of products. We are currently in the midst of a significant transformation journey where we are building the foundation to better adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

About the Role:

As the Chef for Kategoriområde Förbutik, you will be part of Nearfood's management team and involved in developing strategies and goals for the business area. Your responsibilities include ensuring the implementation of assortment work across the entire ICA organization.

You will have full responsibility for the Kategoriområde Förbutik and are expected to ensure efficient category and procurement work by leading and actively participating in operational tasks. Your duties will encompass sales development, gross profit, margin growth, and overseeing budgeting for the area.

We expect you to contribute to the strategic development within Assortment & Procurement by identifying opportunities for enhancement and streamlining processes to meet current and future market demands and owner requirements.

The role entails personnel management, where you are accountable for providing your team of 9 members with the necessary support to succeed and achieve their goals. As part of ICA's transformation, we are actively strengthening our teams and empowering them to take responsibility for crucial plans and decisions. This also places new demands on leadership, requiring an understanding of the importance of self-leadership and distributed authority.

For this role, we are seeking someone who:

• Has experience in managerial roles with personnel responsibility.
• Has extensive experience in both procurement and category work.
• Has experience in change management and enjoys working on continuous improvements.

Additional experience in the retail industry is a plus. To excel in this position, we believe you are a confident and coaching leader with a high level of commitment.
