Sweetspot is growing our team of passionate individuals on a mission to optimize revenue for all kinds of golf facilities and businesses. Our software and hardware products encompass several booking and business systems for golf clubs, simulators, driving ranges, and academies, assisting over 100 business clients worldwide. Additionally, our mobile app boasts more than 15,000 unique daily active golf players.

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Product Designer to lead design for one of three core teams and support our Design System initiative. In this role, you'll focus on enhancing the experience for both our business clients and golf players, exploring ways to bridge the gaps between design and production.

Our products have evolved over the years, yet there's still much to streamline and improve as we are transitioning to our new product operating model. At Sweetspot, we prioritize User Experience, quality, performance, and an exquisite look and feel to achieve our business goals. This is a full-time role based at our Stockholm headquarters, operating in a hybrid setup. We anticipate being physically present together at our office for 2-3 days a week.What you'll do at Sweetspot:
  • Contribute to overall strategy and decision-making regarding product direction.
  • Assist in delivering clear storytelling around customer needs and business opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and design peers.
  • Create, collaborate on, and iterate on flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.
  • Design and implement high-quality features and product improvements.
  • Collaborate on the ongoing growth of "ScrambleDS," our Design System.
  • Act as a mentor and provide thoughtful feedback to your peers (while benefiting from strong personal and professional mentorship opportunities yourself).
Some projects you could work on:
  • Enhance workflows, processes, and communication among PMs, designers, and developers.
  • Design for our new Driving Ranges booking and management solution, incorporating ball dispensers and in-bay solutions.
  • Design our upcoming POS 2.0 solution and its integration with the existing Sweetspot ecosystem.
  • Design the new version of our Golf Academy solution, a highly flexible SaaS platform targeting golf coaches and their customers.
  • Introduce innovative collaboration methods to enhance teamwork.
  • Investigate new AI technologies and tools to expedite the design-to-production process.
  • Envision new possibilities for our industry and contribute to shaping the future vision for 2025 and beyond.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
  • 7+ years of experience working as a product designer.
  • 2+ years of experience working on a software product of similar scale or complexity.
  • A strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a11y.
  • Great attention to detail and an eye for visual craft, including composition, typography, and layout.
  • Advanced knowledge of Figma, particularly in utilizing features like Auto Layout, Variables, and Components.
  • Outstanding organizational skills in your craft. Your documentation, deliverables and working files are the envy of your peers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; you're able to articulate your design decisions and strategy with clear rationale and storytelling.
  • Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML/CSS. While coding is not required, you should have a working understanding and be able to utilize Chrome inspect mode.
  • High proficiency in English is required for effective communication with our team, clients, and users.
  • An outstanding vibe and soft skills; you've mastered the subtle art of straightforwardness and politeness.
While it's not required, it's an added plus if you also have:
  • A strong understanding of user-centered design principles and product strategy.
  • A design/development hybrid background, or experience building websites or apps.
  • UX Research skills, qualitative or quantitative.
  • An interest in the golf industry as a business.
  • A dog , our office is pet friendly.
