Job Description

Rare Opportunity for a Health and Safety Leader

An exciting role awaits a skilled Health and Safety (H&S) specialist to pioneer top-notch safety systems for our esteemed Danish team while also overseeing Fire Safety protocols globally.

As part of our esteemed H&S Nordics team, you will lead the charge in implementing healthcare initiatives tailored for Denmark, extending your support to managers and employees across borders, ensuring they are well-equipped with essential knowledge and training.

Moreover, as the designated Vattenfall Fire Safety Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in upholding rigorous fire safety measures worldwide, making a significant impact on our workforce's safety and advancing global safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and execute the World Class H&S strategy company-wide.
  • Oversee health care contracts and maintain quality care standards.
  • Strategically manage health initiatives and ensure full process implementation.
  • Maintain a comprehensive legal register and offer legal support on health and safety matters.
  • Submit H&S reports for various purposes such as Sustainability reports.
  • Develop common H&S instructions for consistent safety protocols.
  • Coordinate H&S training programs and support initiatives for safety awareness.
  • Collaborate on international H&S projects to foster knowledge exchange.
  • Establish systematic work environment tasks and implement compliance measures.
  • Be the primary point of contact for H&S matters and oversee Fire Safety protocols.
Qualifications

Desired Profile

We seek an experienced individual with a strong background in leading Health, Safety, and Environment initiatives, especially in Fire Safety. Join us in enhancing safety standards organization-wide, safeguarding our workforce with your expertise.

  • Demonstrated expertise in Health and Safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in an international matrix organization navigating complex structures.
  • Proficiency in collaborating with diverse teams in multicultural settings.
  • Exceptional networking skills to engage with stakeholders effectively.
  • Fluency in English with Swedish proficiency as a bonus.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed.

Location: Kolding, Denmark or Stockholm, Sweden
