What we do and aim for

• At Sofiebergsskolan in Tyresö, we have a learning studio that will now also become a treatment school under municipal management. Our mission, targeting students in grades F-3, is to create a positive learning environment for students who have faced challenges in their previous schooling and also require a therapeutic setting. The purpose of the activities is to work towards the student's life situation, where knowledge development and treatment collaborate to provide tools for success, both in school and in their leisure time.

About the position

• We are looking for someone who wants to be part of developing the best learning situation for students where previous school environments have not succeeded. You will be part of a team consisting of a teacher, a leisure-time teacher, a preschool teacher, and two resource educators. Your task will be to collaborate with the family and social services based on the student's needs through supportive conversations and family therapy.
• You will receive significant trust from the management and ample opportunities to contribute to the development of the position and the activities.
• The position is a permanent employment with a 50% workload.

Who are you?

• We are looking for a social worker/behavioral scientist with further training in therapy focused on family work. You should have good knowledge of children with neurodevelopmental disorders and the need for special support.
• You consider the student's entire life situation and work based on current research as a natural part of your work. Your leadership is clear, and you have a warm heart for the students, eager to challenge both yourself and them.
• Personal qualities such as being structured, clear, and having good collaboration skills are prioritized in the selection of applications. You should be able to express yourself well in writing and have experience in documentation. Significant weight will be placed on personal suitability.
