Moving Floor Gotland AB is a leading cleantech company specializing in the development, production, and sale of patented solutions for automatic cleaning of animal stalls. Our goal is to reduce environmental impact and antibiotic use in the agricultural sector with our technology, and we are pioneers in the international development of automated cleaning systems.

As an Automation Engineer, we are looking for someone with experience in programming PLC & HMI, with experience in ABB systems being advantageous. You will be a key player in further developing our software that currently drives the moving floors.

Location: Stockholm or Gotland

Employment type: Permanent position.

  • Develop and improve PLC and HMI programming for our systems.
  • Collaborate closely with our design team and technical leaders to integrate new software with existing systems.
  • Manage and optimize automation workflows.
  • Organize and enhance our automation infrastructure.
  • Participate in production planning and financial calculations for automation projects.
Who we're looking for
  • Have knowledge and experience in automation with expertise in PLC and HMI programming. Your ability to streamline and fine-tune automation processes is crucial. You should have a relevant technical education, preferably in industrial automation, but your practical experience and problem-solving skills are what truly make a difference. You are skilled in programming with Function Block Diagrams and sequential programming.
  • Leadership skills, proactivity, and a high sense of responsibility are qualities we highly value. You are a team player who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative work environment, and you are ready to take our self-cleaning floor solution for animal husbandry to the next level.
About Moving Floor

We offer a position in a small but growing organization with a positive work environment and short decision-making processes. The company is innovative and market-leading in the segment of automatic cleaning. Our operations are located in Gotland and Stockholm. Currently, we have about a hundred customers spread from Canada to China. Our strategy is to build know-how and IP in our Gotland operations and scale up by establishing majority-owned subsidiaries near our major customers, primarily in China and Brazil. We are looking for someone interested in joining a very exciting international growth journey in an important sector, our food supply.
