At Vattenfall Eldistribution, we are looking for someone who wants to work at the forefront of the ongoing energy transition and is passionate about developing long-term customer relationships. The transition to a fossil-free future poses great demands on electricity grid companies. Energy consumption will double, leading to a significant expansion of the existing grid. Production needs to shift to renewable sources, and more focus will be put on electrifying industry and transportation. This requires us at Vattenfall Eldistribution to strengthen our Large Consumers team within the Customer Relations department with an additional Business Engineer.

The Role of Business Engineer

The team is responsible for major customers connecting to Vattenfall's regional grid, with the majority being grid companies. The increasing demand for power, combined with capacity shortages in more areas, is one of the challenges we face. The team's tasks include managing relationships with existing customers and being actively involved in projects and discussions regarding new connections and power expansions.

Some of Your Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate connection projects in the early stages and ensure agreements are signed with customers during the project.
• Manage and coordinate discussions with internal parties involved in projects, such as network analysis, project planning, project management, and more.
• Proactively engage in customer discussions to understand their needs. You will be the customer's extended arm within our organization, as well as an ambassador for Vattenfall Eldistribution externally.
• Participate in development projects and initiatives to strengthen our capabilities in specific areas.

Workload varies over time, demanding flexibility and collaboration within the team and with other parts of Vattenfall Eldistribution. It is crucial to have the ability to see the big picture and adapt to changes.

Your Profile

• Hold a university degree in a relevant field, preferably in electrical power, energy technology, or similar.
• Fluency in spoken and written Swedish and English.
• Have strong communication skills and feel comfortable speaking and presenting in both internal and external settings.
• A valid driver's license is required as the position may involve travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in infrastructure, preferably within the electricity grid sector.
• Basic experience in contract writing and contract law.

As a person, you are solution-oriented, proactive, and enjoy working in a changing organization. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work independently and in a team are essential. The role demands strong collaborative skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external parties. Lastly, being organized with the capacity to prioritize and plan tasks efficiently is important.
