JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.
The Business Process Support Specialist supports the BPM team in all aspects of:· Trainings / Training Contents development & maintenance
· Business Intelligence analytics and development to support continuous operations process improvement.
· Global Operations Business Process Subject Matter Expert, Support, and Auditing.
The position requires a pro-active, self-motivated and process oriented individual with excellent analytical and communication skills. These traits are critical for this position to successfully improve and maintain compliance to the global standard processes and procedures, as well as subsidiary performance, on a global scale. Additional responsibilities include process improvement, testing, training and support.
The ability to challenge the status quo and to work across organizational silos, logical thinking, excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor and strong contribution in a team environment are required for this position. The Business Process Support Specialist must be able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Create global operations training contents, maintain JAS University operations process contents
· Create and provide business analytics on global Operation KPIs and Job Management performance.
· Prepare business requirements to support development of business process improvement
· Prepare reports and analyze Operation KPIs Performance (KPI) to provide suggestion for improvement.
· Prepare reports and analyze Job Costing errors to improve job management performance.
· Train specialized classes related to C1’s functionalities and other Operation system related modules.
· Act as the subject matter expert on C1 and Global Compliance Rules to Operation users
· Provide extensive support through monitoring and resolving C1 eRequests.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform other tasks as requested to support Global Operation Compliance team’s projects and goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Knowledge in creation of business analytics using Power BI.
· Knowledge in creation of video training contents.
· Familiar with in freight forwarding business process (air and sea freight).
· Motivate to acquire excellent understanding of JAS Global Processes, Global Business Rules and Operational Procedures.
· Motivate to acquire excellent understanding of C1 functionality and processes.
Technical/Software
· Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Power BI, and MS Excel.
· Experience with video editing tools such as Camtasia & Adobe Captivate is a plus
· Fluent in the usage of with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
· Must be comfortable with tele-communication tools such as MS Teams, Skype, ZOOM.
Language
· Excellent knowledge of oral and written English language. Ability to verbally communicate information in a clear and concise manner.
· Must have ability to read and interpret documents such as Business Cases, Project Plans, Business Requirements, User Guides, Training Manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills
· Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar / pie graphs.
Other
· Ability to learn quickly
· Business Intelligence, Training Contents Development, Business Analyst, Business Process Management background is desirable.
· Strong Organizational and Self-Motivation skills – Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize, and execute on assigned deliverables.
· Able to work with in a matrix reporting environment, build and maintain strong relationships with peers, stakeholders and management who will largely be based remotely.
· Solution driven with the willingness and ability to implement innovative ideas to improve processes and procedures.
· Able to commit to and demonstrate the core values: Respect, Courage, Passion, Integrity and Teamwork.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
o College degree preferred.
o Business Intelligence, Business Analysis experience is of advantage.
o LMS/Training Contents Development experience is of advantage.
o Freight Forwarding background is of advantage

This position is performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions.
