This is a remote position. We are looking for candidates in Sweden only.

What we do

We’re part of the that aim to make it easy to detect, respond, and learn from incidents with minimal effort. We’re responsible for the and , and collaborate closely with the IRM mobile app and Grafana Incident.

You are comfortable working in a remote-first company and understand the importance of communication You enjoy learning, growing, and supporting others to do the same. You have solid experience as a Software Engineer and feel comfortable working with React, Typescript, and ideally RxJS.You know how to transform ideas into working code – you are able to design a solution, get feedback, and write a prototype by yourself.You enjoy working on complex solutions – Grafana is a highly technological solution and has avid followers who rely on it every day and care deeply about their workflows.You care and value code maintainability, readability and testing.You understand the implications of technical decisions, how they’ll affect the codebase and the team.You enjoy working as a team. Community is part of our core, and interacting with the community is a day-to-day thing for us. You are able to communicate the design decisions clearly in written and spoken English.

What we use

The purpose of this section is to give a sampling of the technologies that are currently in use by this squad (and the projects with which we interact). Experience with the entirety of these technologies should not be seen as a requirement. It is more important to recognize the purpose of these tools, and possess the experience / ability to learn how to apply (or interact with) them effectively where appropriate.

We work with React as our framework, Typescript and MobxCSS modules and CSS custom properties is our choice when it comes to stylingWe use Prettier, Eslint and Stylelint to automate code stylingWe use Plop ("micro-generator framework.") for scaffoldingWebpack is our current bundler

In Sweden, the Base compensation range for this role is SEK 836,741 - SEK 1,004,089. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process. Benefits include equity, bonus (if applicable) and other benefits listed .
