We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Software QA Engineer to join our team in Malmö, Sweden. This hybrid role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products through rigorous testing and collaborative problem-solving. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in identifying issues, improving processes, and contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans and cases.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using industry-standard tools.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
  • Conduct regression, performance, usability, and functional testing for web and mobile applications.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
  • Provide clear and actionable feedback to development teams, ensuring swift resolution of issues.
  • Monitor software quality metrics and provide reports on product quality trends.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with manual and automated testing for web applications.
  • Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar.
  • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices.
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript) for test script development.
  • Understanding of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and a methodical approach.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • ISTQB or other QA certifications.
  • Experience in hybrid work environments or distributed teams.
